In my psychiatric training, I was taught to spend time
listening to my patients to understand the underlying meaning of their words and actions.
As the therapy progressed, the patients, too, would come to understand and develop
insight. This insight gave the patients tools to deal actively with future
conflicts.
Unfortunately, the words "insight"
"working through" and "development of deeper understanding" are often
the quickest way to get a managed care denial. I have been wracking my brains to come up
with an efficient way to arrive at the underlying meaning of words and phrases. How can we
develop insight into hidden meanings "on the cheap?"
Some say that the rearrangement of words can reveal
their hidden meaning. In the confusing, arcane world of managed care, we could certainly
use help understanding the underlying motivations of the managed care industry. Use
these anagrams so you won't need to spend time analyzing the plans and motivations of
these companies.
